Addressing students, ABVP’s north India organising secretary (ABVP) Shriniwas said the student body was getting a good response in various universities’ elections.

“I am confident that PU too will replicate this trend,” he said.

ABVP workers exhorted youngsters to not fall prey to drug abuse and condemned those indulging in campus violence.  The student body also declared Nisha Dondyal and Manpreet Kaur Sandhu its campus vice-president, Payal Singla the girls’ wing in charge.
