Actress Shruti Haasan 'harassed', Sirsa-based man suspect

The police are conducting preliminary investigations into the case relating to the alleged misbehaviour with actress Shruti Haasan at a hotel in Dehradun on Wednesday morning. A Sirsa-based (Haryana) man who was staying in a room in the same hotel at Mussoorie Diversion is said to have knocked repeatedly on Shruti Haasan's door after midnight, scaring the actress. The man was said to be drunk at that time.

Shruti has made a verbal complaint to the Rajpur police who have now called her manager and the accused to the Rajpur police station for investigations.

Shruti Haasan is the daughter of ace actor Kamal Haasan and Sarika and has acted in several films.
Actress Shruti Haasan is presently in Dehradun city in connection with the shooting of a film, 'Yaara', being directed by famed director Tigmanshu Dhulia. The crew has shot several scenes at a dilapidated building near the Behl Chowk in Dehradun. Shooting is also scheduled to be held at other places in Dehradun.

Station officer, Rajpur, Rajesh Shah told HT that they have called Shruti Haasan's manager to the Rajpur police station to seek details about the case.

"The accused person who belongs to Sirsa has also been called," he said. As per police, Shruti's manager was staying in the adjacent room and she has also been called for providing information.
