Applications invited for bravery awards

The Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW), New Delhi, has invited applications for bravery awards for the year 2014. Children in the age group of 6 to 18 years, who have shown exemplary courage or have some meritorious deed to their credit during the period from July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014, are eligible for nomination.


Applications of such children are to be sent to the Child Welfare Council, Punjab, Karuna Sadan, Sector 11, Chandigarh. Application forms are available with the district child welfare council's office in the respective districts or the Child Welfare Council, Punjab.

The applications should reach the state council's office by September 20. Thereafter, the names of the eligible children will be forwarded to the ICCW.
