The Punjab government has invited applications to fill the vacancies of one official and two non-official members of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).
Applicants can either forward their names or recommend another person’s name with necessary details. Applicants for the post of official member should have held office for at least 10 years under the union or state governments.
The government has also constituted a ‘search committee’ headed by the chief secretary to recommend a panel of names - three times the number of posts - to the high-powered committee comprising the chief minister, the Vidhan Sabha speaker and the Leader of the Opposition to finalise the PPSC members, a spokesman said here.
The last date for submitting applications in the office of the secretary, personnel, in the civil secretariat here is July 25.
