Rubbishing the claims of union railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal that he has 'no business links with his nephew Vijay Singla', former Chandigarh member parliament and senior BJP leader Satya Pal Jain on Sunday claimed that Bansals and Singla have common business interest.

However, the documents produced by him didn't establish a direct business link between Singla and any of Bansal's family member.

Vijay Singla was arrested by Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday allegedly for taking a bribe of Rs. 90 lakh.

Jain claimed that some of Bansal's close relatives - who are business partners of Vijay Singla - also have business relations with minister's sons.

Addressing mediapersons at Chandigarh Press Club in Sector 27, Jain produced documents, showing that one of the companies, JLT Infra Limited (formerly known as Jagan Tubes Limited) had four directors, including Vijay Singla and Bansal's brother's son Vikram Bansal.

Interestingly, the address furnished by Vikram Bansal for the registration of company (House no. 64, Sector 28-A), happens to be that of Pawan Kumar Bansal.

Another company Bansi Raunaq Energy Group Limited also has four directors, including Rajesh Bansal, Vikram Bansal (both sons of Pawan Kumar Bansal's late brother Harvilas Bansal) and Bansal's son Amit Kumar Bansal.

While Amit's address is House no. 64, Sector 28-A, Rajesh and Vikram have furnished two addresses - one same that of Amit and other is House no. 136, Sector 9, Panchkula.

Vijay Singla is co-director in four other companies -Jagan Realtors Private Ltd, Jagan Industries Ltd, Mirage Infra Ltd, and Chetan Industries Ltd.

Jain demanded that CBI should question the union minister at the earliest and Bansal should clear the air and make it public statement on all the companies his family members owned or were directors or shareholders.

Jain said since the CBI was yet to find out what benefits had been doled out to Mahesh Kumar, who had paid the bribe to Vijay Singla, and the persons among whom the bribe money was to be shared, interrogation of Bansal was required and the CBI should not give the railway minister more time to prepare his defence.
