Jagdish Singh Bhola, main accused in the international drug racket, on Monday claimed that Punjab cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia was the mastermind of this racket.

Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal questioned the timing of the allegations, while Majithia said the Punjab Congress had become party to a conspiracy to defame him through wild accusations made by a hardened drug criminal.

The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee demanded Majithia's arrest in view of Bhola's charges, while former Congress MP Jagmeet Brar approached the Punjab and Haryana high court, seeking a CBI probe into the drug racket.
