The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams for Class 10 and 12 are starting today. For Class 12 students, the first paper is of English and for Class 10, first exam is of painting.

CBSE Regional Director RJ Khanderao said, “There are 39 centres in the trictiy, and 17,509 students are appearing in Class 12 and 11,966 in Class 10 exams.”

English and painting being the first papers, students were not much stressed, but the rest of the papers are a worry for them.

“I am not very tensed, as my first paper is easy. But math and science are extremely important and the result depends on the marks of these subjects,” said Mahesh Kumar.

But some students look at it from a different angle. Kshitij Sharma, Class 10 said, “I hope the exams go well, otherwise, I might not be able to get non-medical.”

Principal of DAV Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 15, Chandigarh, Rakesh Sachdeva, who is also a CBSE counsellor advised the students to take proper sleep. This was an extremely crucial point and every child should keep the mind straight and focused, he added.
