DGP appreciates Punjab Police personnel for peaceful conduct of polls

Punjab DGP Suresh Arora on Wednesday appreciated all officers and personnel of Punjab Police, who actively participated in the Lok Sabha election.

In a communique addressed to the rank and file of the state police, the DGP said it was because of their hard work, dedication and sincerity that these elections were conducted in a smooth, peaceful and impartial manner.

He also expressed gratitude and appreciation for the officers and personnel of central paramilitary forces who assisted the state police in the conduct of the elections. 

The DGP said he was proud of the officers and personnel of Punjab Police who had worked tirelessly over the last few days and had displayed exemplary commitment in maintaining law and order in the state.
