Entry level school admission from today, draw of lots from Jan 10.

The entry level admission process starts from Monday, where all the schools, including government, private and missionary will take part.

The forms will be available free of cost from the schools. It can  also be downloaded from the schools' websites from Monday onwards. December 20 is the deadline for submission of forms.

As per the new schedule, the date for the display of information was proponed and the schools will have to display information regarding the name of the entry class, dates of admission, total number of seats, age requirement, fees structure, admission criteria, documents required and date of draw of lots by November 25.
 
The draw of lots will take place from January 10 to 20, 2014. The list of the selected students and the waiting list for admissions will be displayed in schools between January 10 and 20, 2014.

Selected students will have to deposit the dulyf filled up forms upto January 25, 2014. The second list of selected students from the waiting list will be displayed from January 29 to January 31.

As per the UT education department official, the common admission schedule and procedure for the entry class for 2014-15 session is not a mandatory order, but it is in the best interest of the private schools along with government, government-aided and recognised schools in the UT.
