At least five people, including Panjab University (PU) chief security officer, Jatinder Grover, were injured in a clash between the two student organisations which took place on the PU campus here on Tuesday.

The clash took place over a trivial issue regarding a leader of Student Organisation of India (SOI) joining Punjab University Student Union (PUSU). The members of both these groups started throwing chairs at each other, which resulted in the clash and injury.
