Season’s special From just one tennis centre at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association Complex-10, the sport has steadily grown. Now with a number of tennis facilities spread across the tricity, the kids have more opportunities to take up the sport. In continuation of the weeklong series, which HT started on May 6, we bring you a comprehensive list of tennis academies spread across the tricity.

Amritsar: HC disposes of shopkeepers’ petition

The Punjab and Haryana high court on Tuesday disposed of the petition filed by shopkeepers who have their shops in the area for the Galiara project in Amritsar, directing the Amritsar municipal corporation commissioner to pass appropriate orders on their representation seeking an alternative site, within two months.
