The Haryana cabinet on Sunday decided that any employee appointed against a sanctioned post who has or will complete 10 years of service with a cut-off date of December 31, 2018, shall be considered for regularisation even though his original appointment may not have been made through the process of advertisement and interview. However, this would be a one-time measure and subject to satisfactory service record, an official spokesman said.
The cabinet also approved the proposals to give employment to dependents of three police and army martyrs. They included Tejbir Singh, son of late ESI Balwan Singh; Surena Devi, widow of late constable Rakesh Kumar; and Bharti alias Bhateri, widow of late Subedar Dharmesh Sangwan, member of the Indian Peace Keeping Force. Police personnel ESI Balwan Singh and constable Rakesh Kumar had sacrificed their lives while fighting anti-social elements and criminals while Subedar Dharmesh Sangwan had sacrificed his life in Sudan.
The cabinet also approved the proposal to allot land to Yadav Kalyan Sabha, Jangid Brahmin Pradeshik Sabha, Aggarwal Sabha and Punjabi Sabha at Rewari at 10% of the market rate. It was decided that about 1,000 square yard of land be also allotted to the Saini Sabha out of the land belonging to Public Works (Building and Roads) department at the same rate.
