Haryana, Punjab enter semis of HI junior men's nationals

Haryana and Punjab recorded constrating victories in ntheir respective pool matches to enter the semifinals of the fourth Hockey India Junior Men National Championship (Division A) here today.
While Haryana registered a hard-fought 2-1 win over Jharkhand in Pool C, Punjab thrashed Tamil Nadu 9-1 in a Pool A encounter.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Uttar Pradesh 4-3 in a fierce Pool C encounter.
Results of the day:
Pool C

Hockey Haryana 2 Karmbir (42nd min) and Nikhil Saroha (45th) vs Hockey Jharkhand 1 Amit Bhengra (69th).
Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy 4 Mohd Nizamuddin (14th and 46th), Nikky Kushal (29th) and Arjun Sharma (36th) vs Uttar Pradesh Hockey 3 Manish Rajbhar (33rd and 38th) and Raju Pal (25th).
Pool A

Hockey Punjab 9 Ajit Pandit (12th, 66th and 69th), Baljinder Singh (35th and 68th), Parvinder Singh (4th, Varun Kumar 16th), Harmanpreet Singh (49th) and Shamsher Singh (60th) vs Hockey Unit Of Tamil Nadu 1 Anand Satthi Krishnan (28th).

Foot-in-mouth disease among humans

The foot-and-mouth disease afflicts cows, buffaloes and sheep and causes them to break out in acute fever and blisters and could be fatal. Whereas the foot-in-mouth disease is known to attack us humans as we often shoot off our mouths, resulting in embarrassment.
