Hooda meets Shukla, assures family all help

Haryana chief minister. Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday visited a Gurgaon hospital to inquire about the well being of former union minister VC Shukla who was seriously injured in a Maoist attack on Saturday.


Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi also met Shukla at the hospital.

Hooda met Shukla's wife and wished for his speedy recovery. Hooda assured his family all help from the Haryana government and gave directions in this regard to the district administration. He also went to the intensive care unit (ICU) where Shukla was admitted and inquired from the doctors about his condition. Doctors said Shukla's condition was serious but stable.

UT to shift complainants to another destitute home
