Reacting sharply to the allegations in 'chargesheet' submitted by the Indian National Lok Dal to the governor, in which properties allegedly owned by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his relatives were listed out, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday said he would sue the opposition party leaders.

Interacting with newspersons after the cabinet meeting, Hooda said it was ridiculous that those leaders against whom charges had been framed in the court of law for amassing disproportionate assets were levelling allegations against him.

"I have decided that first I will serve notice on them and if they don't offer public apology, I would file a defamation suit against them," he said.

Asked when he would serve notice on them, Hooda said he would do so after seeking legal opinion on this issue.

It may be recalled that a delegation of INLD leaders including Abhay Chautala and Ashok Arora had on Saturday submitted a 'chargesheet' to governor Kaptan Singh Solanki, listing out alleged corruption in state government and properties owned by Hooda and his relatives.
