The Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) under the leadership of its president Jagdish Singh Jhinda begins Akand Path at Gurdwara Patshahi Chhevin in Guhla-Cheeka on Thursday.

Talking to media on the occasion Jhinda blamed the Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal for the violence and occupying the Haryana gurdwaras illegally. He further said Badal is misusing his position and Amritsar-headquartered Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) funds to create hurdles in proper functioning of HSGMC.

A formal meeting will be held in Guhla Gurdwara at 2:30pm to chalk out future strategy to take control of other gurdwaras in Haryana, Jhinda added.

He also asked the Haryana government to register an FIR against the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and SGPC members for occupying the Haryana gurdwaras illegally in the wake of the HSGMC Act. Jhinda claimed that he is supported by all the Sikhs from Haryana.
