Physics and Electronics Duration:
Three years Availability: Physics department, Panjab University Number of seats: 20

The three-year course is industry-oriented and can fast-track students into the job world, if they are diligent. It is well-sought after and recorded the second highest cut off after BPharma last year.

In this course, we teach students Physics as well as electronics. One of its uniqueness is that students have to undertake projects, which help them strengthen their skills in experimental sciences. The course design is smart and syllabus up to MSc Physics is covered.

During the final year, a lot of emphasis is laid on teaching electronics to students. This helps them pursue experimental physics, if they want to go for higher studies.

In addition, students taking this course are eligible for the UGC-NET examination in Physics as well as Electronics.

Bison's watering hole

Once upon a time, the tricity's most sought after watering hole at the Chandigarh Golf Club bore a strong character and historical profile. Pictures of legendary players had adorned the walls. A massive Indian bison head mounted at a prime location of the bar's walls complemented the pictures and presided over the cheery spirit of the late evenings. The pictures depicted the sport's great icons playing varied shots from beautiful locales across the world. Vikram Jit Singh
