Ellenabad MLA Abhay Singh Chautala said with the efforts of party workers, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) would defeat the Congress-led government in the upcoming assembly elections and INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala would become the chief minister.

At a workers' meeting at his residence at Dabwali Road here, Chautala accused Congress leaders of covering up several scams during the last 10 years. He added that those leaders would be behind the bars had those scams been investigated thoroughly.

He stated that Congres leaders spoke about the importance of maintaining unity within the party, but there had been several recent instances of internal conflict.

He also demanded that Hooda produce white letters for several development works undertaken in the state to back up his statements on inclusive development in Haryana.
