IPS, HPS officers transferred

The Haryana government shuffled the district police chiefs of Rohtak, Jhajjar, Mewat and Fatehabad on Monday.


Orders to transfer 13 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and eight Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers were issued. Rohtak superintendent of police (SP) Vivek Sharma has been posted as joint commissioner of police (crime) Gurgaon. HPS officer Rajesh Duggal has been posted as Rohtak SP in place of Sharma.

Jhajjar SP Anil Dhawan has been posted as Mewat SP replacing Sukhbir Singh. Fatehabad SP Vikas Dhankar has been posted as Jhajjar SP.

Shiv Charan, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Fatehabad SP. Ambala (rural) DCP Naazneen Bhasin has been posted as DCP East, Gurgaon vice Maheshwar Dayal. Dayal has been posted as joint CP (headquarters), Gurgaon. 

Commandant, first battalion Haryana armed police Hamid Akhtar has been posted as Ambala (rural) DCP replacing Bhasin.

Rohtak additional superintendent of police (ASP) Sulochna Gajraj goes as Kurukshetra ASP. Deputy director, PTC, Sunaria Satender Gupta has been posted as SP, CID against a vacant post.  Inspector general (IG), Rohtak range, Anil Kumar Rao has been given the additional charge of IG, Crime, Gurgaon.

IG, crime against women, Dr Suman Manjari has been posted as IG, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban against a vacant post. Among the HPS officers, ASP, Narnaul Ombir Singh, has been posted as commandant, first battalion HAP Ambala with additional charge of SP, telecom.

Deputy superintendent of police (DSP), fourth battalion, Indian Reserve Battalion, Ravinder Kumar goes as DSP SCB, Hisar while DSP, HAP, Madhuban, Satish Kumar, goes as DSP, headquarters, Sonepat. DSP, AEC Kaithal, Dalbir Singh has been posted as assistant commissioner of police (ACP), DLF, Gurgaon. ACP, DLF, Gurgaon Bhupinder Singh goes as DSP, CID, Anoop Singh, on promotion has been posted as DSP, second battalion, HAP, Madhuban and DSP, Siwani Ajmer Singh goes as DSP, CID.

UT urges ministry not to notify Sukhna ESZ unless consulted

Taking exception to the Haryana and Punjab governments for not keeping the Chandigarh administration in the loop while delineating an ecosensitive zone (ESZ) around the Sukhna wildlife sanctuary, the UT forest department has urged the environment and forests ministry not to consider proposals by both states unless consulted by the UT.
