Ludhiana Congress leader joins SAD

Former Ludhiana district Congress vice-president Bhagwan Das Sood joined the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in the presence of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion after presenting a siropa to Sood, Sukhbir welcomed him to the SAD fold, saying that the party would give adequate respect to leaders coming in its ambit, a party spokesman said here.


Sukhbir also urged SAD leaders to gear up for the parliamentary elections and work hard to win all 13 seats in Punjab.
