Mandi: MMS of a girl goes viral

The Sarkaghat police have booked four youths on a complainant of a girl that one among them had recorded her visuals while she was changing the clothes during a marriage ceremony. The victim has alleged that the accused had sent the MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) to two of his friends, who later sent vulgar remarks to her.

The police said that the matter came to light when one of the youths gave his mobile phone for repair and the person repairing the mobile downloaded the MMS and circulated the same.

According to police, the victim belonged to a high profile family of the area. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case under the Information Technology (IT) Act and further investigations are on.
