Modi to address rally in Rewari on Sept 15

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi will address ex-servicemen during a rally at Rao Tula Ram stadium in Rewari on September 15, a Bharatiya Janata Party release said here on Saturday.


Stating that this would be Modi's first visit to Haryana after becoming the BJP election campaign committee chief, the release said that he would be addressing the rally of ex-servicemen.

The release said that Rewari area was known for its contribution to the armed forces where several generations of people had served the armed forces. The districts around Rewari - Mahendragarh, Jhajjar and Hisar - had the highest concentration of ex-servicemen in the country, the release said, adding that Haryana BJP president Ram Bilas Sharma had deputed party leaders Capt Abhimanyu and Sudha Yadav in charge of this rally.

During the rally, Modi would talk about the pending demand of one rank one pension of ex-servicemen.
