Only 99 vacant seats for girls in BCom

After the three days counselling for BCom first year for city colleges and department of evening studies in Panjab University, only 99 seats are left for the candidates of general category, that too only girl students, under the 85% union territory quota.

A PU spokesperson said 40 seats were vacant in Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45, Chandigarh, and 58 seats for Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh.

Only girl students with ranks 1601 onwards should attend the counselling on July 6, he said. PU will also start counselling for reserved category for UT pool and common pool for all categories after 2 pm.
