Senior Supreme Court advocate HS Phoolka is the committee coordinator, while the other members include social scientist Dr Amarjit Singh Narang, Sikh scholar and former PGI director Dr JS Neki, writer Ajit Caur and former CBI director Joginder Singh.

Two members each from both groups have been nominated for the talks   Bhajan Singh Walia and Tarsem Singh from the Sarna group and Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Harmeet Singh Kalkaji from the Badal group.

It has also been decided to hold a candlelight vigil at the spot of the violence at Gurdwara Rakabganj at 5 pm on Friday.
