Police release sketch of Nepalese suspect in double murder case

The Shimla police on Monday have released the sketch of the Nepalese labourer in the Chhajpur double murder case. 

The police department on Monday interrogated some relatives of the accused. The police have learnt that the accused has come to Himachal first time. Meanwhile, with the help of the accused relatives, the police have prepared his sketch.

On Thursday last, the Nepalese labourer hacked mother and son to death at Chhajpur village nearly 100-km from here. Sudha Devi (45) and her son Krishan Chand (26) were allegedly killed by the accused with an axe and escaped with his family.

Meanwhile, the police and the locals have been searching the accused. Local panchayat pradhan Khumb Ram said that the accused had come to the area on Thursday at 7 am. 

The police have registered a case against the accused and have launched a massive hunt for him. The separate teams were sent to different location of Rohru, Jubbal and Kotkhai.
