Power bill, payments goes online in Haryana

The electricity consumers in Haryana would now be able to see the details of their electricity bills and make payments online as well.

A spokesperson of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) said in a release on Wednesday that besides the facility of online payment of bills, online application for new connection and lodging complaints through SMSs had already been started.

Earlier the facility of online payment was available only in Faridabad, Gurgaon and Hisar in the area under DHBVN, and all over the area under the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, added the spokesperson.

He said that the consumers could use these facilities by going to the website of the concerned discoms on www.dhbvn.com or www.uhbvn.com.
