Punjab govt transfers 3 IAS, 2 PCS officers

Punjab government on Monday issued transfer orders of three IAS and two PCS officers with immediate effect.

Avtar Chand Sharma, PCS (retd) (re-employed), additional secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Punjab has been asked to take charge of special secretary, Medical Education and Research, in addition to his present assignment with immediate effect, during the training period of Harbhupinder Singh, IAS, i.e. upto April 19.

Khushboo Goel, IAS, additional secretary, Local Government, Punjab, will take additional charge of secretary, Infrastructure Regulatory Authority, relieving SS Bains, of his additional charge.

Balwinder Singh, IAS, special secretary, School Education, will now take charge as deputy commissioner, Tarn Taran from Harmesh Singh Pabla.

While Harmesh Singh Pabla, will take charge as special secretary, Welfare of SCs/BCs, relieving Chaman Lal Wasan from the same.

Nachhattar Singh Brar, PCS, sub divisional magistrate (SDM), Nihalsingh Wala, will take charge as SDM, Faridkot, relieving Darshan Singh of the same.
