Punjab on alert after Hyderabad blasts

Punjab police has issued general alert across the state in view of serial blasts in Hyderabad.
A top police officer said that field officers had been specifically directed to maintain vigil in crowded areas and increase patrol in market places. Police sources say there has so far been no specific input from any agency indicating that the miscreants could create any trouble in this border state.
