Rupnagar Congress workers pay tributes to Bhagat Singh

 Congress workers observed the 'Martyrs Day' to commemorate Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Shalki Academy here on Sunday.

In his speech, former municipal councillor Jagdish Chander Kajla highlighted the sacrifice made by the three martyrs. Former district Congress committee president Sukhwinder Singh Whisky was among those who paid the tributes.

 Former councillors Pommy Soni, Sheela Narang, Paramjit Singh, Padam Parkash Lamba, Rishi Raj Sharma, Ranjit Singh, Surinder Saini, Amarjit Singh, Mohan Singh, Ashok Sharma and Rajinder Kumar Bhanbra were also present on the occasion.
