The members of students' organisation of Panjab University (SOPU) on Friday presented a memorandum to the university vice-chancellor, controller of examination and registrar, regarding the change in date of entrance test for law 3-year, as the dates are colliding with that of Delhi University's entrance test.

Students informed the authorities that both the entrance exams were on June 9 and it would be impossible for those students, who were interested to appear for both varsities.

They demanded a solution for the same at the earliest, so that, students get sufficient time to prepare for the examinations.

The members informed that the authorities have promised them to solve the problem at the earliest.

Arshnoor Dhillon, campus president, SOPU said the party was working for the rights of students. We have urged the authorities to change the date of entrance exam at the earliest so that students may prepare in peace for both the exams, he added. He said if their demand were not accepted by the authorities, they would go in for agitation and would put up a dharna outside VC's office Monday onwards.
