State to hold departmental exam from Dec 26

The central committee of examination, Punjab, is organising the next departmental examination of certain categories of officers from December 26 to 31.

Announcing this, a spokesman of the government said these categories included assistant commissioners, extra assistant commissioners, IPS officers, civil judges (junior division), tehsildars, revenue officials, officers of forest department, officers of agriculture, soil conservation services, horticulture services, animal husbandry and fisheries department and wardens and inspectors of the wildlife conservation department.

The examination will also be held for officers in the department of jails, excise and taxation department, cooperation, dairy development, block development and panchayat officers, women circle supervisors of rural development and panchayat department and officers of labour and employment departments.

The spokesman said those IAS, IPS and PCS (executive branch), PCS (judicial) and other officers who intended to appear in the said examination should send their applications to the department of personnel.
