The sudden transfer of senior officials and technical staff of the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) has affected official work in the offices.

This month, three main officials responsible for the administration — Huda administrator PC Meena, estate officer-1 Surinder Singh and estate officer-2 Narendra Yadav — were transferred, affecting work at the authority.

Though, the officials have been replaced by new appointees, they are either getting acquainted with their task or are yet to assume office. Meanwhile, it is the visitors that are left in the lurch — staff at Huda are sending them back due to the lack of officials.

The popular reasons given to the public are: the concerned official has recently joined or is too busy in a meeting or is on leave.
