Summer camp at Kala Nikhar Academy ends

The Kala Nikhar Academy concluded its monthlong summer camp activities at a local club with a fashion show and various dance presentations. Students with their ramp walk and dance moves left the audience enthralled.

“The summer camp was a very fruitful experience as it not only kept us busy but we learnt a lot,” said Pransali, one of the students, who helped in organising the camp. Another student, Guneeta Bindra, added: “All participants enjoyed every activity at the camp. They felt there were lucky to learn many new things.”

At the end of the event students, whose parents were also present, were given prizes for outstanding performances at the camp.

200 Pakistani pilgrims denied entry into India

Around 200 Pakistani pilgrims headed for a Sufi shrine in Indian Punjab have been refused entry into India, a media report said on Friday. The Pakistanis wanted to attend the annual Urs of Hazrat Mujaddid Alif Sani at Sirhind in Punjab, the Dawn reported.
