After the 2012 London Olympics, the Haryana chief minister had announced promotion for two sub-inspectors. While boxer Jai Bhagwan was promoted in December 2012, Seema remains waiting.

In some cases, athletes close to the CM have got the jobs despite lack of merit. “Or you should have a strong lobby. Sporting achievements come next,” Seema had said before leaving for Glasgow.

She had to moved the Punjab and Haryana high court to get the police job and seniority.

BOXER IN FINAL

London Olympian boxer Devendro Singh made it to the final of the 49kg weight category at Glasgow on Friday. He got better of Wales boxer Williams Ashley 3-0 in the semi-final.
