CICSE Results: Jaisreet of PPS Nabha, Simarpreet of YPS top Patiala

Jaisreet Kaur Khaira of Punjab Public School (PPS), Nabha, and Simarpreet Sodhi of Yadvindra Public School (YPS), Patiala, clinched first positions in the district in the ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10) examinations respectively, as the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results on Friday.

Jaisreet Kaur Khaira of Punjab Public School (PPS), Nabha, and Simarpreet Sodhi of Yadvindra Public School (YPS), Patiala, clinched first positions in the district in the ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10) examinations respectively, as the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results on Friday.

While Jaisreet scored 97 per cent marks, Simarpreet Sodhi scored 97.2 per cent marks.

In the Class 12 result, Kartika Puri stood first in British Co-Ed School, Patiala, with 94 per cent marks, closely followed by Dhruv Trehan (93.75 per cent) in commerce stream.

In Class 10, Yuvika Dandiwal topped British Co-Ed School with 97 per cent marks, followed by Manmeet Kaur (96.2 per cent) and Jasleen Kaur Bedi (95.6 per cent).

As many as 96 students had appeared from YPS, Patiala, in Class 12 examination, of which 18 students scored more than 90 per cent marks.

Inayat Walia of science stream and Vibhuti Sayal of humanities scored the first position in the school by scoring 96.5 per cent marks. Arushi Goyal (science) stood second with 95.5 per cent while Fizapreet Dhillon (humanities) clinched the third position with 94.5 per cent marks.

In Class 10 result, 33 YPS students scored more than 90 per cent marks. Simarpreet Sodhi scored the first position in the school by securing 97.2 per cent marks. Latika Narula got second position with 96.2 per cent and the third slot was shared by Jashnosh Chahal, Kanav Malhotra and Sukriti Bansal with 96 per cent marks.

All students of Kaintal School, Patiala, secured first division in Class 12 and 10 results. As many as 45 students of total of 59, who had appeared in the exams, secured merit positions.

In Class 12, Ravneet Kaur topped Kaintal School by securing 93 per cent marks. All students of the school scored more than 70 per cent marks. In Class 10, Isha Singal stood first with 97 per cent, while the second and third position was clinched by Vaibhav Kashyap and Amenreet Singh Sodhi with 95.4 and 95.2 per cent marks respectively.

District topper Jaisreet Kaur Khaira (science) of PPS, Nabha, secured the first position in the school, in Class 12 while Amritpal Singh Benipal stood second with 96 per cent and Amreen Kaur Khaira and Jashanpreet Kaur shared third position with 95 per cent marks. Jaisreet is also the district topper.

In Class 10, Aastha and Jaspreet Kaur shared the first position in the school by scoring 95.4 per cent marks. Garima Hans clinched the second position with 95 per cent marks while Savarveer Singh secured the third slot with 94 per cent marks.

The schools authorities congratulated the toppers and all candidates who have brought laurels to their institutions through good results.
