City-based NGO takes initiative to clean waste

100 workers from a city-based NGO Vmad had took the initiative to clean the city.They cleaned the roads from where a Nagar Kirtan had passed across the city on Sunday.

Guru Nanak Khalsa School, Gujarkhan Campus for Boys, had also joined the cleanliness campaign.

School principal Harminderpal Singh appreciated the students for participating in this campaign.Director of Vmad Baljeet Kaur expressed, "Our young members have also met mayor harcharan Singh Gohalwaria. They will meet deputy commissioner Rajat Agarwal on Tuesday for making sure that every gurdwara and mandir should take the responsibility after any religious activity".

Kaur added that "Now the youths are aware about everything and claims that Ludhianavis will experience a clean and different Ludhiana with the power of youth."
