City lad bags second rank in National Cyber Olympiad

Mridul Bhaskar, a Class11 student of BVM School, Kitchlu Nagar, who had appeared in the 13th National Cyber Olympiad conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), has brought laurels to the school by bagging second international rank.

Bhaskar was rewarded with Rs 25, 000, a silver medal, a certificate, a gift hamper, a CD and an annual subscription of knowledge BBC magazine by the Supreme Court Justice Dipak Mishra in a function held at Chinmaya Mission, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on June 22 this year.

Millions of students from 27,000 schools of 16 countries appeared in the olympiad. School principal Neelam Mittar and vice-principal Upasna Modgil congratulated Bhaskar.
