Haryana chief minister ML Khattar has directed the state vigilance bureau to inquire into the alleged irregularities in the sanction of commercial building plans of municipal council (MC), Rewari from 2012 to 2014, which caused revenue loss of about Rs 1 crore to the state government.
An official spokesperson said on Friday that sub-divisional officer (civil), Bawal had found many irregularities in the sanction of eight commercial building plans by MC, Rewari, besides revenue loss to the state by stealing stamp duty of
about Rs 1 crore.
He said that the urban local bodies department had received many complaints that applicants of commercial building plans after concealing facts and in connivance with the officials of MC and along with deputy registrar had registered forged deeds. Also, permit of change of land use was also not taken from the government.
