CM to inaugurate two-day convention at LUVAS on Jan 28

Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Scienes (LUVAS) is organising a two-day national convention on 'Role of Veterinarians in Quality Assurance of Livestock Products and International Trade' as well as 12th convocation of National Academy of Veterinary Sciences on January 28.


LUVAS vice-chancellor Shri Kant informed, "Convention will be inaugurated by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and agriculture and animal husbandry minister Sardar Paramvir Singh will preside over the function. Urban local bodies minister Savitri Jindal will be the guest of honour."

Suresh Henpagol, animal husbandry commissioner, government of India; KML Pathak, deputy director general (DDG) of animal sciences; Arvind Kumar, DDG of education, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, and vice-chancellors of various veterinary universities will participate in this convention.
