CMCH dipped in Christmas fervour

Christian Medical College and Hospital celebrated Christmas with great joy and fervor here on Saturday night. All wards of the hospital were decorated with Christmas trees, coloured lights and stars and different departments organised Christmas parties and get-togethers.

Christian Medical College and Hospital celebrated Christmas with great joy and fervor here on Saturday night.


All wards of the hospital were decorated with Christmas trees, coloured lights and stars and different departments organised Christmas parties and get-togethers.

The celebrations would conclude on December 17.

A camp fire was also lit at the CMC children's park. Hospital director gave a welcome address and wished everyone a merry Christmas.

Christmas carols were presented by different choir groups. The audience included the staff and their families who were enthralled by the lively presentations by different groups.

Christmas carols were sung by Marthoma Church, Orthodox Syrian Church and Catholic Church. The nursing department, College of Nursing, staff also presented vibrant Hindi and Punjabi Christmas songs.

The guest of honour, Rev Younas Massey, Bishop, Diocese of Chandigarh, Church of North India, delivered the Christmas message. Other dignitaries present included medical superintendent, Kanwal Masih, principal of medical college, S Bhatti, and principal of dental college, Abhi Thomas.
