After a number of hoardings of the party candidate Deepender Hooda were found damaged, the Congress has lodged a complaint with the district returning officer Amit Aggarwal. Copies of the complaint, along with photographs have also been sent to election observer and state chief electoral officer.

Local congress leaders, including MLAs Anand Singh Dangi, Bharat Bhushan Batra and Shakuntala Khatak, have strongly condemned the incident.

They said that the opposition parties could see their defeat that's why they were resorting to such unethical practices.
