Congress MP from Rohtak Deepender Hooda has demanded immediate relief for the farmers whose crop was damaged in the recent rain.
Hooda, who was addressing party workers in Maatan village of Jhajjar district, said that both the BJP governments at the Centre and in Haryana should provide immediate relief for the farmers, who have lost their crops due to rain.
He said that the farmers of the state were already reeling under the rising prices of urea and electricity, now the unseasonal rain had damaged their crop. But the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in the state have
failed to provide any relief to the affected farmers, he added.
