Congress protests against Maluka

Hundreds of Congress workers led by local MLA and district president Sunder Sham Arora held a demonstration in front of the mini-secretariat on Tuesday, demanding resignation of state education minister Sikander Singh Maluka in the library books and science kits scam case. Activists reached the secretariat in the form a procession, raised slogans against the government and burnt its effigy.

Arora said that the education minister needed a lesson on ethics and integrity. He said his party would intensify agitation if Maluka is not removed from the cabinet.
