Senior Congress leader and Dera Baba Nanak MLA Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Monday warned Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia against inciting people to violence.

Reacting to Majithia's statement at a rally in Majitha on Sunday, Randhawa said "he (Majithia) appears to be under some delusion", while asking him to better wake up and face the reality.

"The Congress workers are just waiting for an opportunity to pay him back in the same coin, however, we are not allowing them to take the ways and means you adopt. But enough is enough and we may not be able to control our people for long if you do not start behaving properly,"said Randhawa.

"Majithia is frustrated over the overwhelming support to Amarinder's leadership in Amritsar. Now he (Majithia) is trying to use his favourite tactics of intimidation, violence and arm-twisting. The Congress will be well within its rights of hitting back and its workers will not take anything lying down,"he added.
