Learning about another language, rules and norms helps the employees of any organisation to deal with situations."
She delivered a lecture on cross culture communication skills. More than one hundred fifty students and faculty members attended the lecture, which was jointly organised by the HSB and PDCPA, Hisar.
"In international business one needs to interact with partners and customers from different countries and with different cultural backgrounds," said director HSB SC Kundu.
Kundu added that to effectively communicate with them one needs to acquaint with the art of cross cultural communication. The best way to understand people and their culture is to get some firsthand experience.
Dean HSB Usha Arora said cultures provide people with ways of thinking, ways of seeing, hearing, and interpreting the world. Same words can mean different things to people from different cultures.
