Punjab's biggest milk producer Verka Milk Plant, on Wednesday, organised a seminar at Sadarpur village in Samana block of the district under the union government-sponsored scheme 'Strengthening Infrastructure for Quality and Clean Milk Production'.

Giving details of various techniques and tips for quality production of milk to farmers, Sharma also said that the knowledge is essential for producing clean milk and the farmers should be aware of it.
He said that apart from taking knowledge of the basics of clean milk production, farmers should get information regarding the basic concepts in milk production to reduce input costs and ultimately maximise their returns.
