Radical group Dal Khalsa has come up with the third updated edition of the directory of those killed at the Golden Temple complex during Operation Bluestar in June 1984.

The updated edition carries the messages of Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Geelani, Damdami Taksal chief Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa and senior journalist Jagtar Singh, who has chronicled the history of this period.

Dal Khalsa founder Gajinder Singh, who is in exile, has also written a note for the directory.
Dal Khalsa spokesman Kanwarpal Singh had initiated the exercise to compile the directory which has the names and profiles of all those killed in the operation.

The directory includes the profiles of 220 people killed in the operation. It was released in the presence of their families on the eve of the 28th anniversary of the operation here on Tuesday.
Kanwarpal said his team led by Sarbjit Singh Ghuman had done a lot of research work, but still a lot needed to be done.

The 'bhog' of the 'akhand path' in memory of those killed would be performed at the Akal Takht here on Wednesday. A memorial to those killed in the operation is being constructed at the Golden Temple complex.
