"Sensing its defeat, the Congress is seeking help from left and right, but it would not yield any result. Rather, it shows the level of desperation of the Congress," Sukhbir said.

He said that the Congress has become ineffective, inefficient and non-productive during the decade-long rule of the UPA at the centre and will die its own death. It's only Narendra Modi, who can save the country with his decisive policies.

He said the Congress had no suitable candidates to field against SAD and was fearing defeats from all seat by big margins.

Reacting to the allegation of the non- completion of development works, Sukhbir said that all these projects would be completed in two years.
