Delhi eves on Friday routed Haryana in the Under-19 Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) zonal-level inter-state cricket tournament (girls) match held at the Khalsa College Cricket Grounds.
After winning the toss, Delhi chose to bat first and set the target of 180 runs in 50 overs. However, the entire Haryana team was sent to the pavilion by the Delhi's firebrand bowlers as they were all out at 36 over making just 67 runs. Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, who presided over the opening ceremony, said that KCA ground will host four more matches in the coming week.
In another match played at the Gandhi Ground, women cricketers from Himachal Pradesh (HP) thrashed eves from Jammu and Kashmir, winning by a massive margin of 235 runs. After winning the toss, HP team chose to bat first and scoring 273 runs while the J&K team could score only 38 runs.
