To corner the ruling Congress over farmer-related issues, BJP Kisan Morcha president Om Prakash Dhankar on Sunday announced to hold a three-day foot march in Rohtak parliamentary constituency from Kosli to Rohtak to demand bonus on wheat crop.

Dhankar who was the BJP candidate from Rohtak against Deepender Singh Hooda of the Congress said when Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan can give `150 bonus on wheat crop, why the Haryana government has not given it for last two years?

Dhankar said to build pressure on the state government to give `300 bonus (`150 each for last year and this year), he would lead a foot march and would be joined by activists of Kisan Morcha besides farmers.

On the saffron party's pro-farmer poll promises, he said after the installation of Narendra Modi as the prime minister, they would try to get implemented the MS Swaminathan commission report at the earliest and before the Haryana assembly polls.

Elaborating on the Swaminathan panel report, he said when these recommendations would come into force, farmers would be liable to get 50% profit against their expenditure on crop.

Dhankar told the media that he was scheduled to attend Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Delhi on Monday.
